Recent Projects
1. Equitable Resources, Inc. of Pittsburg, PA currently has an on-going contract with J&M Monitoring, Inc. to provide environmental services in Kentucky, West Virginia and Virginia. J&M provides wastewater treatment facility design, installation and construction, spill abatement, petroleum hydrocarbon abatement, IAQ testing and remediation services, general construction, above ground storage tank restoration and painting, underground storage tank site closure as well as general sampling and monitoring of storm water runoff.
2. Currently J&M Monitoring, Inc. holds an annually renewable contract with the Kentucky Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet for the analysis of drinking water, soils and other material related to the influences of mining activities such as acid mine drainage, fugitive dust, ground water and surface water. The contract also includes geotechnical analysis of areas of questionable stability.
3. Koch Industries, Inc. has retained the services of J&M Monitoring, Inc. for the past seven years in order to manage the environmental and reclamation issues on 14 surface mines in Kentucky and Virginia. During this time J&M has won two reclamation awards for Koch Industries, Inc. One award was a statewide reclamation award for the best reclaimed mine site in Virginia. Another award was for outstand reclamation of a mine site in Kentucky. J&M was responsible for all phases of these projects.
